We’re Hiring! Program Manager
We’re looking for an outstanding individual to join the leadership team of our growing organization.
The Program Manager will work alongside the Executive Director to develop, oversee and administer the local food programming of our organization including the Golden Farmers Market, Glean Golden Communal Harvest, School Meal Program, Seed Swap & Food Literacy Programs, Local Food Marketplace and Columbia Valley Regional Food Hub.
A permanent part-time position, this role is 25-30 hours per week and offers $32-$35 per hour compensation, commensurate with experience.
The Successful candidate will be passionate about local food, bring program management experience, demonstrate strong leadership skills, be highly organized and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Professional experience in the non-profit, public or social enterprise sectors is an asset.
This position offers a combination of on-the-ground action and behind the scenes coordination with the option for some remote work and a flexible work schedule.

Strong program & project management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent fiscal management skills - a high number of financial transactions to administer with precision and detail, while also managing the overall program budgets
Social media acuity
High capacity for self-direction and effective time management
Capacity for diffusing and resolving conflict
Capacity to troubleshoot and find creative solutions to myriad challenges
Physical capacity for lifting and carrying program infrastructure (tents & signs, apple crates etc. up to 40lbs)
Driver’s license, & clean driving record
Must have your own laptop
Familiarity with google drive, quickbooks, stripe, canva, and squarespace platforms is an asset.
